Bruno Berle Announces New Album
First of all, apologies for the hiatus here. Due to some technical problems, we couldn’t add any content. But we’re back now with great news: Bruno Berle, our favorite singer/songwriter of the new MPB movement in Brazil (five-paw review for his second album “No Reino Dos Afetos 2” and our number 2 song of the year in 2024), just announced the release of his third album on the London-based Far Out Recordings label. “Sem Fronteiras” will drop on July 10th and was recorded in London, Minas Gerais, Germany, São Paulo, and Maceió.

Co-produced by his longtime musical partner Batata Boy, the first single off the album just came out a couple of days ago. “Manhã” features Bruno on vocals, guitar, congas, and shaker, Batata Boy on piano, vibes, synthesizer, and shaker, and label mate Nyron Higor on drums and bass. This wonderful, joyous and infectious piece was written by João Menezes and Marvin Silva and is the perfect teaser for Bruno’s next adventure.
