Jarrod Lawson with new Single, Album and Tour

We’ve been following Jarrod Lawson and his incredible career ever since his very first album was declared our soul album of the year back in 2014. We covered his excellent shows in Paris and Berlin in 2015, his “Be The Change” album was our record of the year in 2020 and we last saw him in Rotterdam at the end of 2024 with a truly remarkable performance. Jarrod is now back next week Friday (February 6th) with a brilliant new slow-burning soul tune called “Do Whatchu Gotta”, co-written with French artist Rose Noir, whose track “Twins” was the inspiration behind it. And Jarrod simply never disappoints. His vocal delivery and chops are just one of a kind and never cease to amaze. The keyboard he uses on this particular track is one of the killer elements here. And the chorus keeps on shouting out for more.

The album will also include his still resonating, beautiful collab with Raquel Rodriguez called “Next Move”. Jarrod is currently on a US tour and will be back in Europe in July for select festival dates. We’ll keep you posted.
