Live in Person: Macy Gray. Amos Lee.
Two of the most interesting artists which have accompanied us in the last 25 years, are coming to Europe for a few select dates this year. Singer, songwriter, producer, and musician Macy Gray released her debut album “On How Life Is” back in 1999. It was and still is an ear-opener which has become sort of a classic record. Macy released about a dozen more albums up to this day and had to cancel her last performance in Berlin on a pretty short notice due to illness. For the 25th anniversary of her debut album, she is coming over to Europe this spring, see dates below.
Amos Lee, the now 48 year old singer and songwriter from Philadelphia, celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut album. “Amos Lee” came out in 2004 on Blue Note Records and features Norah Jones, Adam Levy, Kevin Breit, among many others. His folk and indie rock melange with a touch of jazz, country, and soul, still resonates a couple of decades after. Amos has just announced a handful of concert dates in Europe, see below.
