Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival Birmingham
Since 2010, the Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival in Birmingham has presented ground-breaking and innovative UK artists and international headliners in a stunning woodland glade surrounding just 2 miles away from the city centre. Each year, the festival brings together some of the most in-demand artists along with workshops, arts, crafts, and a selection of Birmingham’s most loved street food and drinks vendors to Moseley Park.
Just a few hours ago, the festival announced the latest line-up drop. Among the second wave of artists are Gina favorite Jordan Rakei, Soul II Soul, Cymande, Goldie, Don West, Emma-Jean Thackray, Quantic, and Nightmares On Wax, in addition to already announced faves like Jalen Ngonda, Thee Sacred Souls, and Fabio & Grooverider and the Outlook Orchestra. There are also Jazz FM instrumentalist of the year Dan Casimir and his Big Band, and vocalist Olympia Vitalis who released the crtitically-acclaimed 5-track EP “People Watching” last July and who will come up with a new EP soon called “Lady Luck”.
Please check mostlyjazz.co.uk for all further info. The festival will run from Friday, July 10th to Sunday, July 12th.
