New Jazz Festival in Berlin
Zig Zag, Berlin’s finest jazz club, and Ella Radio, Berlin’s jazz radio station, present the first ever Zig Zag Jazz Festival at Gasometer, one of the most innovative and modern concert locations in town. With the main stage at the Forum, an amphitheater as a smaller space, and a roof deck on the 15th floor, the festival will present 10 days of top jazz concerts, usually with at least two artists per night. The first night, on July 20th, will feature Fusion Experience feat. Dave Weckl and Richard Bona, and Dee Dee Bridgewater as the second act. Also on board: Stacey Kent, Ledisi, Till Brönner, The Bad Plus, Bill Charlap, Mononeon, Gretchen Parlato feat. Mark Guiliana, Victor Wooten, Gonzalo Rubalcaba Quartet, Joey Calderazzo, Al Di Meola, Ivan Lins, Eliane Elias, and Dhafer Youssef, among others.
