Dominique Fils-Aimé on Tour
Montreal-based singer and songwriter Dominique Fils-Aimé, who earlier this year released her album “My World Is The Sun” as part of her second album trilogy (her sixth album so far), is currently on a world tour and will hop over to Europe in October, see dates below. We saw her highly satisfying set, at least parts of it, at last year’s North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam. Her 2023 album “Our Roots Run Deep” earned the 2024 JUNO Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year and the Félix Award for Best Jazz Album. She’s touring the US in September before embarking on a European tour in the fall. If you’re anywhere near, make sure to check her out. Her stage presence and repertoire is extraordinary and full of soul.
