Coming To You Live

Like the early 80s Charles Earland treat “Coming To You Live” from the album of the same name, we’re excited and looking forward to some much anticipated concerts in the next couple of weeks. First up, this Thursday, Manhattan Transfer singer Janis Siegel and Swedish pianist Mattias Nilsson will perform at King Georg in Cologne. Can’t wait for the repertoire which they will have in store. Back in Berlin a day later, another duo concert: Michael League and Bill Laurance will play music from their excellent, five-paw rated album “Where You Wish You Were”. Next up is another artist whose latest LP received a five-paw review from Gina: Helado Negro is coming to Berlin performing music from his latest, brilliant album “Phasor” and hopefully, some older material as well. We hope for “Agosto”.

Lizz Wright "Shadow"

Up next, we will visit Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie for the first time (can you imagine?). On March 9th, Cécile McLorin Salvant will grace the stage there. And back in Berlin on March 11th, Lizz Wright will play some new music from her upcoming album “Shadow”, to be released on April 12th. And we’re going to see Jalen Ngonda on April 9th. He just came up with a new song called “Illusions” which you can also find on Gina’s weekly Spotify playlist.
