The US spiritual jazz label Black Jazz was founded in 1971 and Doug Carn released a total of four albums between 1971 and 1974 with his wife Jean Carn (later Carne) on vocals before she went on a successful career on her own on Philadelphia International Records. To celebrate the forthcoming anniversary, DJ Theo Parrish will warm up the event which is sure to be the hottest ticket of the fall season.
