Opening night of the 50th edition of the Jazzfest Berlin with a tribute to the Martin Luther King visit to Berlin in 1964 by guitarist and tenor saxist Sharp, new, young German drummer Klesse with her Quartet and Italian reeds master Bearzatti with his Monk’n’Roll project playing Thelonious Monk’s music in a very unconventional way.
