We are almost done with this season which as you are all aware, has been an incredibly strange and difficult one. We were not able to stage a single concert this year. However, since our opening in mid May, daily business has been pretty good. So thanks to all who came out for a visit. We have installed a vinyl record player in our cafe and played a lot of this year’s great releases for everybody to enjoy, like Khruangbin, José James, Norah Jones, Rumer, Simon Jefferis, plus tons of used soul and jazz vinyl from the 70s and 80s.
We are looking forward to the new October releases from Jarrod Lawson, Bob James & Till Brönner, Melody Gardot, Terrace Martin, and so many more and will return to our day-to-day column on this page. By the way, Gina is still vital and active and has enjoyed the summer months in the garden as much as we did. We’ve also received used LPs recently from Kellee Patterson, White Heat, the Salsoul Orchestra, Bill LaBounty, Alton McClain & Destiny, the Spinners, Gwen McCrae, Poussez!, Hi Gloss, Deodato, Ollie Baba, and many more. Stay tuned!
