January is a pretty exciting and busy month for us again. I am currently finishing preparations for my next trip to my favorite city, New York. Expect reports as early as Friday of this week from the Jazz Connect conference which starts on Thursday, from Winter Jazz Fest, also starting on Thursday with the two-day marathon in the West Village on Friday and Saturday, and from various APAP showcases and events.
