Howard Johnson UK Shows

One of our early 80s heroes, the one and only Howard Johnson, just announced two shows in the UK this October, with more shows possibly in the can. Howard was the co-founder of the group Niteflyte, which recorded two albums in 1979 and 1981 before he went solo with his still totally impeccable “Keepin’ Love New” LP in 1982. The album was produced by the equally legendary Kashif, Paul Laurence Jones, and Morrie Brown and features all-time favorite classics like the title track, “So Fine”, or “Take Me Through The Night”. A year later, he recorded an album produced by Mic Murphy and David Frank of The System. The album was totally different in sound of course and features classic boogie tracks like “Much Too Much” or “Let This Dream Be Real”. Howard recorded one more album in 1985 (“The Vision”) which featured Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis as producers and then there was one more album in 1989 with Regis Branson. After a long break, he returned in 2012 with “The Orange Album”.
