New José James Album as Limited Edition 180 Gram Double Purple Vinyl

We’ve already announced singer José James‘ next album “1978”, to be released on April 5th on Rainbow Blonde Records. The singer just announced on his Bandcamp page that there will be 500 hand-numbered vinyls of the album, coming in a gatefold packaging, clear anti-static sleeves and heavy duty vinyl poly bag packaging. 250 copies of the vinyl will be available through the website of the label, and 250 copies will be available on Bandcamp. The vinyl version will not be available in stores.

Meanwhile, a second track off the album was released today. After “38th & Chicago”, the sultry and soulful “Saturday Night (Need You Now)” clearly enhances the anticipation. José is playing the Blue Note in New York April 25th-28th and embarks on a European tour in late May. To pre-order the vinyl, go to his Bandcamp page.
