North Sea Jazz Coming Up
It’s been an incredibly busy start of the outdoor season for us. Thanks to everybody who came out to see our two live shows which we staged on April 30th and May 29th. We had a lot of fun with both Three4Soul who got us grooving and moving, and the wonderful voice of Maiko Andreo.
From our tiny little live venue to one of the biggest jazz events the world over: North Sea Jazz Festival is coming up again faster than you think. This year’s event at Ahoy in Rotterdam will take place from July 7th to 9th. There will be a pretty interesting panel which we’ll feature again individually. In the meantime, indulge in the thick and heavy roster which includes, on July 7th: Fred Hersch & Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington/New Standards with guests, Bill Frisell Four, Dave Holland New Quartet, Kenny Barron Quartet, Yussef Dayes, Kurt Elling & Charlie Hunter, and dozens more.
July 8th will have Marcus Miller, Jill Scott, Abdullah Ibrahim, Eloise, Julius Rodriguez, Brandee Younger, Fred Hersch Trio, Lakecia Benjamin, Adi Oasis, and a tribute to Jim Hall with various guitarists. Final day on July 9th will feature Samara Joy, Cymande, Branford Marsalis Quartet, Brad Mehldau Trio, Kandace Springs, Benny Sings, Madison McFerrin, Oded Tzur, Samora Pinderhughes, and artist in residence Esperanza Spalding with Antonio Brown Dance.
