Richard Bona opens New Jazz Club

Bassist and singer Richard Bona from Cameroon is opening a new Jazz club in New York next month. The club is called Bonafide (like Richard’s last album, released in 2013) and is located at 212 East 52nd Street in Manhattan.

There will be an exclusive sneak preview of the club this week (August 11th-13th) with the Mike Stern Group featuring Richard Bona and Richard himself will host and play the grand opening on September 9th, 10th, and 11th. The club seats about 80 people and there will be two shows each night: at 8pm and 10pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.
