Milena Casado on Tour in Europe

Trumpeter Milena Casado, who released her debut album “Reflection Of Another Self” on Candid Records last May, is embarking on a tour through Europe this month. Milena, part of Terri Lyne Carrington’s group (Terri also produced her album), was playing her first headlining set a couple of years ago at the North Sea Jazz Festival, will be on stage with fellow label mate Morgan Guerin on EWI, Lex Korten on piano and synth, Kanoa Mendenhall on bass, and Jongkuk Kim on drums. The 27 year old Spanish trumpeter, now based in New York, was described by the New York Times as “a revelation”. Make sure to catch her on tour this month:
