ELBJAZZ 2024 in Hamburg

Hamburg’s brilliant ELBJAZZ Festival has just completed its programme for this year. It’s been a while since my last visit back in 2015! The festival will take place on June 7th and 8th at the impressive Hamburg harbor, with additional shows at Elbphilharmonie. There will also be a workshop for families with kids aged 6 and up, the JAZZKI award, a technical tour for those interested what’s going on behind the stages, a DJ night with “strictly German vinyl”, another workshop called Sax4Beginners, an aftershow party at Mojo club, and a jazz church service on Sunday.

Among the artists performing this year are Ida Sand, BadBadNotGood, Ed Motta, Scott Hamilton, Moses Yoofee Trio, Alune Wade, Nubiyan Twist, Pablo Held Trio, Emil Brandqvist Trio, Judith Hill, Shalosh, Shake Stew, and so many more.

Gina Celebrates Her 5th Birthday

She got all dressed up yesterday for her birthday celebration at one of Berlin’s Christmas markets. She also had an extra sausage and a slice of meat from an organic corn chicken. Earlier that day, she met a lot of her friends while she went for an extensive walk.
