Fete de la Musique in the Gardens

Our first Fete de la Musique in Gina’s beer garden Alte Baumschule was a big success. We started out early afternoon with smooth grooves from singer Siri Svegler and guitarist Thomas Guitar Walter, then onward with singer Dana Shanti, duo gig from singer Maiko Andreo and Joel Holmes, solo performance by violinist and singer Roland Satterwhite, trio Three4Soul, and the final show on our terrace by Joel Holmes Expansion which attracted a completely full house audience.

Earlier in the day, the concerts were staged in five different gardens on our vast compound here, people were relaxing on the lawns and in deck chairs, listening to the music and enjoying some cold drinks. We will certainly repeat this in 2020, probably with more gardens and bands involved. In the meantime, Joel Holmes Expansion will be back for our monthly BBQ series on July 21st, from 11:30am to 3pm.
