Palatia Jazz 2015
This international Jazz Festival now goes into its 19th season and will run from June 20th until August 8th in various outstanding and charming locations. That’s one of the trademarks of Palatia Jazz: most of the locations are really one of a kind. As for the artists, there will be, for example, top drummer Manu Katché will play in Germersheim on June 27th. Norwegian singer Silje Nergaard will present her new album “Chain Of Days” in Neustadt on July 4th.
The award-winning Tingvall Trio is also part of this year’s programme. The trio will play open air at Klosterruine Limburg in Bad Dürkheim on July 24th. Also performing: the Branford Marsalis Quartet (July 25th/Bad Dürkheim), Lars Danielsson Group (August 8th, Herxheim-Landau), Avishai Cohen will bring his new album “From Darkness” to Schifferstadt on August 1st, and Tunisian Oud master Anouar Brahem comes to Edenkoben on July 18th.
