French singer Hyleen will perform songs from her new album “B-Side”
Palatia Jazz goes into its 22nd year in 2018. Hard to believe that it’s been this long. And congratulations! The fact that internationally known acts, with a focus on Europe, play in various cities and breathtakingly beautiful locations in the hearty Pfalz region, seems like a hot recipe. If you plan to visit, don’t forget to indulge in the luscious wines – not only the Rieslings are world-famous.
This year’s festival kicks off on June 22nd in Speyer. Swiss-born, Berlin-based singer Lucia Cadotsch, who earlier this year played at the Winter Jazz Fest in New York, will bring her ambitious project to the Gedächtniskirche. Also coming up: James Blood Ulmer & David A. Barnes (June 22nd, Speyer), Caro Josée Quartet (June 30th, Neustadt), Pawel Kaczmarczyk Audiofeeling Trio (June 30th, Neustadt), Younee (July 20th, Bad Dürkheim), Hyleen (July 21st, Germersheim), Sly & Robbie feat.
