Anita Baker Turns 65. New Music and Tour Coming Up

Happy Birthday to The Songstress. Late last year, her tour dates were announced. She will be joined on tour by Babyface. Earlier this year, she released a short clip on Twitter with a snippet of new music, supposed to come out later this year. The last time I saw her was in 2019 at North Sea Jazz in Rotterdam, which was more of a mixed bag actually. There were great moments for sure, but too many times she didn’t sing her songs all the way through, but rather would have her backing vocalists or the audience sing the chorus or other parts, which made it a pretty incoherent show in my opinion. But anyway, happy birthday!
