Bondax – “Journey”

We’re counting the days until “Journey” drops, the highly anticipated first vinyl album of George Townsend and Adam Kaye, better known as Bondax. The Manchester-based duo has already released half a dozen singles leading up to the album’s release, several of which also got remix treatment. We’re especially crazy about the Kareem Ali remix of the title track which boasts with cleverly arranged backing vocals and a thick, soulful house beat. The original version on the album has singer Mysie come up with a pretty haunting and mysterious performance, set over a chugging, hypnotic beat. Other tracks on the album, which will be released by Future Disco, feature singer Andreya Triana on a thumped-up disco/house tune called “Energy”, and a very spicy club/house track fronted by singer Tara McDonald (“Don’t Want It”).
