Gina’s New Weekly Playlist Now Online

Gina has come up with another one-hour set of new songs which stood out in the past week and which we constantly come back to. There is a dramatic cover of the D.J. Rogers classic “Say You Love Me” in a new version by Jamison Ross. The legendary Tawatha Agee of Mtume fame is back with a project with Marlon Saunders and Iqram & The Immigrant Groove. We have two very fine straight ahead jazz tracks by trumpeter Altin Sencalar and saxophonist Willie Morris, both on Posi-Tone Records. The great Glenn Jones is back also and two cuts which have been featured here already: the mesmerizing house track “Like You” by Turbojazz and Rona Ray and a brilliant new song by James Alexander Bright.
