New Video Series From Edition Records
One of the hottest European labels, UK-based Edition Records, is starting a new video series. The label, which has brought us some brilliant vinyl in the last couple of years, from Kurt Elling to Nate Smith, from Gretchen Parlato to Sachal Vasandani, from Dave Holland to Mário Laginha, is introducing “The Vinyl Room”.
Filmed at the Edition headquarters with perfect sound and videography, the first part was produced last November with singer Sachal Vasandani and pianist Romain Collin, playing their version of “Adore You”, a Harry Styles piece off their wonderful album “Midnight Shelter”. I really dig the wall with all the great vinyls from the Edition catalogue and the boxes on top of the cabinets. And of course, the music. Expect more footage in this series. Check it out here:
