North Sea Jazz Festival 2017
Already lined up for this year’s North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam is an amazing group of artists which you will never see anywhere else over a three-day period I think.
Friday, July 7th will feature Cory Henry & the Funk Apostles, Usher & the Roots, Wayne Shorter Quartet with Casco Philharmonic, Steve Winwood, Makaya McCraven, Yussef Kamaal, Lee Ritenour & Dave Grusin, Bill Laurance, and John Beasley’s MONK’estra.
Saturday, July 8th has Gladys Knight, Norah Jones, De La Soul, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, Christian McBride’s New Jawn, Shabaka & the Ancestors, and Richard Bona Mandekan Cubano.
Sunday, July 8th is going to be a lot of fun with Erykah Badu, Maceo Parker, Kamasi Washington & the Next Step, Robert Glasper Experiment, McCoy Tyner Trio with special guests Craig Taborn and Geri Allen, Mavis Staples, the Metropole Orkest with Jacob Collier and Cory Henry, Ambrose Akinmusire, Van Morrison, and Jamiroquai.
