Münster Announces 25th Anniversary Festival Programme

The Festival today announced the programme for its 25th anniversary. It will be held January 9-11.

Festival director Fritz Schmücker brings back an artist who was among the roster of the very first one back in 1979 (the Festival takes place every two years): Jasper van’t Hof will be on stage with Markus Stockhausen and Patrice Héral.

Also coming to the charming and vibrant student town in the heart of the Westphalia region: Michael Schiefel who recently received the Westfalen Jazz Award, Lars Danielsson with his Liberetto II project with Mathias Eick, pianist Keith Tippett playing solo, baritone saxophonist Céline Bonacina from France, or Marius Neset and his Septet from Norway.

The Festival has established itself as a big success with the audience since it has been sold out in advance since the mid 90s.
